WHAT HAPPENS IF I’M LATE ?
Anything longer than 10 minutes late will be considered a no-show. There are other clients in a day, so the schedule doesn't have much wiggle room. Cosmetic tattooing is a very time sensitive service and I have time set aside specifically before and after to clean and setup, everyone is different so some procedures take longer than others .
Your deposit will be forfeit and you will need to place another deposit to rebook PLUS a $25 no-show fee in order to rebook.
If you are running late, I urge you to contact me and let me know regardless of anything.
IN POOR HEALTH OR SICK ?
Unfortunately, it happens and isn’t ever planned, but regardless, times is spent preparing for your appointment. Generally when we find out we’re sick it is last minute .
Although, I am understanding to the unexpected, it still doesn’t pay my bills and my policies are set in place for a reason.
Be open and message me , even if it’s a a few days prior etc , let me know just incase . Communication with me is always best and usually an arrangement can be made.
If you are in poor health , have an infection, abscess , are having surgery done or have recently had surgery, have symptoms of COV-19 or a cold, Cosmetic tattooing is not appropriate for you at that time . Your immune system needs to be in an optimal state in order to heal your eyebrows as best as possible and keep you healthy . I know it can suck losing your deposit but again , I will not risk your health for beauty , it does not pay my bills and I don’t want to get sick or have my family get sick .

GENERAL FAQ
WHAT FORM OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept all major credit cards, and cash however, we do not carry any change at the studio for any cash transactions.
DOES COSMETIC TATTOOING HURT?
To some degree there can be minor pain during the procedure 1/2 out of ten is average, everyone’s tolerance will be different. We do use topical numbing cream throughout the entire procedure. If you are a regular smoker the anesthetic will not last as long (this includes mary J. )We highly recommend not having this procedure done during your menstrual cycle or under the influence of marijuana as this often decreases your pain tolerance.
WHAT IS SALINE LIGHTENING?
Saline lightening is the process of using specialized saline solutions over the area you are looking to lighten/remove. We implant the product using a tattoo machine then allow the solution to penetrate the skin topically for 10 minutes. During the healing process the pigment is lifted out of the skin in the form of a scab. This could take anywhere from 3-10 sessions depending on your previous PMU history . Everyone’s tolerance is different however in most cases this procedure can give a mild to strong stinging effect. The area is numbed prior so most people feel quite comfortable.
WHY I DO NOT NUMB LIPS OR EYELINER PRIOR TO
The tissue on the lips is different than anywhere else on the body and does not respond the same to topical numbing. Pre-numbing changes the surface texture of the lips resulting in difficulties implanting pigment and over-working the skin causing more trauma and more pain. Once we have done the first pass over the lips we can then use a secondary numbing agent (if needed) that will make the rest of the procedure comfortable for you .
The use of pre-numbing for eyeliner can run the risk of pushing the capillaries to the surface which can cause bruising or the potential to migrate the pigment through the vascular path , this can lead to bleeding out . Once we have done a pass and broken open the skin , we can apply a secondary numbing agent (if needed) which will make the experience more comfortable for you.
Please note that the use of any type of numbing on the lips or eyes can result in excessive swelling and bruising but usually only lasts a few hours to a few days. You can apply ice to the lips if needed the first day of the procedure.
IF MY LIPS ARE DARK IN TONE HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED ?
You could need up to three sessions to neutralize the lips to achieve the desired tone, neutralizing will always be done at the first appointment . Packages for neutralization look a bit different in price and won't cost the regular touch up fee for both touchup sessions .
HOW MANY TREATMENTS DO I NEED?
Most people are sufficient with topwo sessions booked 6-8 weeks apart (8-12 weeks for Lip Blush). In some cases a third session will be required if proper aftercare was not followed . The third session is not included in the price and will be an additional cost.
HOW OFTEN WILL I NEED A TOUCH UP?
Everyone is different in how frequent they will require touch ups. Everything from skin type to lifestyle will effect the longevity of your cosmetic tattoo. We recommend regular colour boosts annually for brows, eyeliner, lip blush can last longer. Fills are only booked before the area is 50% faded or within 24 months of your last service, whichever occurs first.
WHY DO I NEED TO HAVE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT AFTER MY INITIAL PROCEDURE?
This is a perfecting session. We will evaluate how you’ve healed and how the skin has held the pigment and make minor adjustments to ensure your cosmetic tattoo looks it’s best. Touch up appointments are made no sooner than 6 weeks after the initial session (8 weeks minimum for lips) and are complimentary up to 12 weeks after the initial session. Anything beyond 12 weeks will be an additional charge.
WHAT IS THE LONG TERM CARE OF COSMETIC TATTOOING?
Applying a SPF daily is recommended, especially during the summer months as sun and any type of tanning will prematurely fade your cosmetic tattoo. Any type of exfoliant such as chemical peels, laser treatment, abrasive manual exfoliation and serums or moisturizers containing retinols, glycolic, salicylic or lactic acids (BHA’s and AHA’s) will also fade your cosmetic tattoos and should be avoided over the brow area.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I STOP GETTING TATTOOED?
In most cases the pigment will start to fade and shrink away over time. It can take years to completely fade from the skin and in some cases removal will be required. The more often you are tattooed the longer it will last in the skin.
IS THERE DOWN TIME AFTER BEING TATTOOED?
There is generally no downtime however there may be swelling, redness, fluctuations of colour, flaking, peeling or scabbing of the area for 3-14 days. Excessive exercise should be avoided within the first 7-10 days.
CAN I GET TATTOOED IF I’M BREASTFEEDING?
No. We cannot perform any microblading, tattooing or henna procedures if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
CAN I GET TATTOOED IF I’M ON ACCUTANE?
No. You must have discontinued use of Accutane for a minimum of one year before you are eligible for cosmetic tattooing.
